Fondul de garantare a depozitelor în sistem bancar aduce la cunoştinţă lista instituţiilor de credit participante la acesta ai căror deponenţi beneficiază de garantarea rambursării depozitelor constituite la acestea, în condiţiile şi limitele prevăzute de Ordonanţa Guvernului nr. 39/1996 privind înfiinţarea şi funcţionarea Fondului de garantare a depozitelor în sistemul bancar, republicată, cu modificările şi completările ulterioare.

NOTĂ:

Incepând cu 1 ianuarie 2007, depozitele persoanelor fizice şi persoanelor juridice la sucursalele din România ale instituţiilor de credit străine cu sediul în celelalte state membre ale Uniunii Europene vor fi garantate de schema de garantare din ţara în care îşi are sediul instituţia de credit mamă a sucursalei respective.

De la data intrării în vigoare a prezentului comunicat îşi încetează valabilitatea Comunicatul nr. 3/2007 privind lista instituţiilor de credit participante la Fondul de garantare a depozitelor în sistemul bancar ai căror deponenţi beneficiază de garantarea rambursării depozitelor constituite la acestea, publicat în Monitorul Oficial al României, Partea I, nr. 682 din 8 octombrie 2007.
