    In temeiul art. 114 alin. (4) din Constitutia Romaniei,

    Guvernul Romaniei emite urmatoarea ordonanta de urgenta:

    Se ratifica Acordul dintre Republica Austria, Republica Bulgaria, Republica Croatia, Republica Ceha, Republica Ungara, Republica Polona, Romania, Republica Slovaca si Republica Slovenia, adoptat la Budapesta (Ungaria) la 7 februarie 1998, cu privire la prelungirea Programului de schimburi pentru studii universitare in Europa Centrala (CEEPUS) pentru perioada 1 ianuarie 2000 - 31 decembrie 2004.

     2.5.2. Hotarare cu privire la prelungirea acordului
                Ministrii convin in unanimitate:

  |    Avand in vedere rezultatele procesului de evaluare, ministrii    |
  | isi exprima convingerea ferma ca trebuie intreprinse toate masurile |
  | necesare pentru a asigura punerea in practica cat mai curand        |
  | posibil a prelungirii programului.                                  |
  |    In consecinta ei au convenit asupra textului acordului de        |
  | prelungire, dupa cum urmeaza:                                       |

  |    intre Republica Austria, Republica Bulgaria, Republica Croatia,  |
  | Republica Ceha, Republica Ungara, Republica Polona, Romania,        |
  | Republica Slovaca si Republica Slovenia, denumite in continuare     |
  | parti contractante, privind prelungirea Programului CEEPUS in forma |
  | convenita in acordul semnat la Budapesta la 8 decembrie 1993        |

  |    Partile contractante,                                            |
  |    luand in considerare rezultatele procesului de evaluare, care a  |
  | stabilit ca este imperios necesara prelungirea programului in forma |
  | sa actuala, conform art. 7 paragraful 1 din acordul mai sus         |
  | mentionat,                                                          |
  |    hotarasc prin prezenta:                                          |

  |    ARTICOL UNIC                                                     |
  |    (1) Programul CEEPUS, in forma convenita in acordul semnat la    |
  | Budapesta la 8 decembrie 1993, va fi prelungit pentru perioada      |
  | 1 ianuarie 2000 - 31 decembrie 2004.                                |
  |    (2) Acordul necesita acceptul fiecarei parti contractante, in    |
  | concordanta cu reglementarile constitutionale proprii.              |
  |    (3) Originalul prezentului acord, al carui text autentic este    |
  | cel in limba engleza, va fi depozitat la depozitar.                 |
  |    (4) Acordul intra in vigoare in prima zi din cea de-a treia luna |
  | dupa ce ultima dintre partile contractante trimite depozitarului    |
  | instrumentul prin care comunica indeplinirea procedurilor legale    |
  | interne necesare pentru intrarea in vigoare.                        |
  |    Incheiat la Budapesta (Ungaria) la 7 februarie 1998.             |
